On 26 June – 1 July 2023, KVIS principal Dr. Boonchoat Paosawatyanyong, two KVIS students Mr. Veroj Boonyaraj and Mr. Korakrit Tonpongphan, and KVIS teacher Ms. Namfar Boonkor have participated in Korea Science Academy Science Fair 2023 (KSASF) in Busan, Republic of Korea.
KSASF, hosted by Korea Science Academy of KAIST, is the annual event open to international participation biennially. The event aims to provide a chance for students to present their research, foster scientific innovation and to work collaboratively with their peers from different countries. With 29 participating schools from 20 countries, KSASF 2023 has offered valuable activities for participants including hands-on activities, special lectures, and field trips to world-class industries in Korea.
Moreover, Mr. Boonyaraj and Mr. Tonpongphan, students from Kamnoetvidya Science Academy, presented their exceptional research project titled "Effect of The Apex Angle of a Triangular-Shaped Vibrating Structure on Acoustic Streaming" in both the poster and oral presentation sessions. With lots of hard work and dedication, their project was awarded the prestigious “Grand Award”, the highest award at the KSASF2023.
